Located in Fayette County, the city of Uniontown is about 45 miles southeast of downtown Pittsburgh.
This historic town includes Fort Necessity built by George Washington, the birthplace of McDonald’s Big Mac sandwich and was part of the Underground Railroad route for people escaping slavery in the 1800’s.
